If you intend to travel via aircraft, please reach out to me. You will need a pet carrier that meets your aircrafts guidelines as well as a ticket for your pet. You can either purchase your carrier and travel package through me or bring it with you. We can discuss the details. The travel package includes food, treats, toys, travel water dispenser and carrier. This package typically costs about $100 depending on the current prices of goods. Puppy picture is one of ours from a previous litter. His name is BAUER and lives in Storm Lake, Iowa with the Buse family. As you can see, traveling in the airplane was a breeze with him lol!

FOOD/WATER ON TRAVEL DAY
When traveling with your puppy either aircraft or car you need to be prepared. New puppies need to eat at least every 2-3 hours or they can become hypoglycemic. If this happens they can fall very ill or die from low blood sugar. We do offer a canned puppy food by Hills Prescription Diet called Urgent Care a/d available for purchase for your travel days. If you are traveling by plane...DO NOT OPEN UNTIL THROUGH SECURITY, or they will take it away from you most likely. Also, packing a ziplock bag and plastic spoons and dish or plate to place food on is recommended. If you purchase from us, we will have all this packed and ready for you at pick up time. Just a spoonful or 2 every couple hours will be just fine for your puppy. Puppies can get stressed on take home day and may not want to eat well, so soft food usually entices them to eat. You can also order an UNSEASONED grilled chicken breast from the airport to feed them or mix in with the soft food. Also be sure to offer your puppy plenty of fresh water to drink.
POTTY AREAS
ALWAYS avoid public pet rest areas at airports. Your puppy is not fully protected from illness until they have received all of their vaccines, so you must be careful. Let your puppy potty in a grass area just before entering airport.
If you are lucky, they will all travel just as good as Bauer, who is pictured and lives with the Buse family in Iowa lol!
